I am grateful for moody days. We have over 300 days of sunshine in Albuquerque, and I love each and every one of them. The sun warms, brightens and brings joy to each one of those days. Sometimes, though, a moody day brings beautiful melancholy. Only on a moody, cloudy, damp day can a rainbow appear. As Charles Baudelaire says, “I can barely conceive of a type of beauty in which there is no Melancholy.”
